The pore size is .1-.2 microns, which filters over 99.99% of bacteria, amoeba, cysts, parasites, and other microbes, and turbidity. The carbon core reduces dissolved metals, volatile compounds, and corrects taste and smell.
The ceramic exterior of the Ceramic Filter with Carbon Core can be back-flushed and wiped clean to extend its effectiveness for thousands of gallons of production.
